Privacy policy

This policy covers the Merge Conflict Resolver extension for Azure DevOps and the website jr-devtools.com. The controller is Jeroen Reinink, the Netherlands, reachable at support@jr-devtools.com.
Short version
- Your source code never leaves Azure DevOps. The extension runs in your browser and only calls your organization's Azure DevOps REST API.
- There is no analytics or telemetry in the extension.
- The only external service is Lemon Squeezy, for purchases and license checks.
What the extension processes

We (the developer) do not receive any of this data. The data stored in your organization is removed when the extension is uninstalled or when you delete it through the Azure DevOps extension data API.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which acts as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy processes your name, email address, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy (lemonsqueezy.com/privacy). We receive your name, email address, company name and order details in order to provide the license and support. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Support email
When you email us, we use your message and contact details only to answer you, and delete them within 2 years after the conversation ends unless they're needed for an active license.
Website
jr-devtools.com is a static website without cookies, analytics or tracking. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security, for a limited time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and ask for data portability. Email support@jr-devtools.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We update this policy when the extension or website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
