Release notes
Bulk Editor for Azure DevOps. Newest first.
Pre-release · September 2026
Tested in a private Azure DevOps organization ahead of the public Marketplace release.
28 September 2026
- Unpublished changes are kept as a draft in your browser and restored when you come back, also after going to another Azure DevOps page or reopening the query from its menu.
- Changing the parent of a work item in a tree moves it, with its children, under the new parent right away.
- Reloading the page keeps the title and columns of the query a selection came from, and an unsaved query no longer causes an error after a reload.
27 September 2026
- Paste a block copied from Excel, undo with Ctrl+Z, and sort and filter every column. Enter and Tab move to the next cell, like a spreadsheet.
- Descriptions with formatting are protected from being flattened; the grid tells you why they're read-only.
- Queries with @CurrentIteration work, and a warning appears before closing the page with unpublished changes.
- New work items go right under their parent, and tags are suggested from your project.
- Faster publishing, and a short how-to the first time you open the grid.
26 September 2026
- Tree queries as a collapsible tree; add new work items and children, and change parents.
- People search for Assigned To, and area and iteration path search.
- Import from Excel can create new work items. Dates are shown in your local time, and thousands of rows stay fast.
- Free plan (25 work items per month) and Pro, with a 14-day trial.
25 September 2026
- First version: a grid on queries and backlogs, validation from your process, publishing with conflict detection, and Excel export and import.
- Assigned To shows names, the context menu opens only the selected work items, and the query name is the grid title.
